Has anyone given Power Core from Studio 187 a spin in their Fuzion games? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Have you tried making mechs or vehicles with it (the two things the system doesn't have a skin for)?
I haven't really used Fuzion before and I'm looking to use it in a vigilante level superhero game. What do you think about the official plug-ins for superpowers, psionics, and martial arts? They seem easy to implement and reasonably complete. Power Core seems very cool, but it might be too complicated.

It's less super-power and more right-wing militia, but it's all about vigilante justice.
The main super-power plug-ins are servicable for most low-intensity campaigns. However, if you want more detail and cohesion and internal consistency, you should DEFINITELY check out Heroic Abilities by Jason Dour. ftp://ftp.meta-earth.com/fuzion/pdf/heroic.pdf
Power Core is, indeed, quite a handful at over a hundred pages, thus my recommendation of Heroic Abilities.
The official Martial Arts plug-ins are very nice and simple and easy to implement. I have used them in my CyberFuzion game and they worked very well. You'll also find expansions for them within Sengoku and Shards of the Stone (if you can ever find the latter).

What's the difference between your Mekton plug-in and your Mekton Powersuit plug-in?
Basic Mekton Fuzion (which needs an overhaul badly) is a collection of Mekton combat rules ported over to Fuzion. Basically, how to run Mekton battles in Fuzion.
Instant Mekton is a VERY quick-n-dirty system for creating ONLY giant robots. It's so pared down from Mekton Zeta it's not even funny. But it allows for quick and easy creation of giant robots in seconds.
Instant Mekton Powersuit ONLY creates powersuits. It's essentially the same as Instant Mekton, but the scaling rules from Mekton Zeta have already been applied, so there's no need to build it big and scale it down like in the original MZ book.
Instant Mekton Vehicles, likewise, ONLY creates vehicles, and mostly simplistic modern ones at that.
I created these rules as handry distilliations, not comprehensive replacements of Mekton Zeta Plus. Mekton Zeta Plus is a powerful tool for creating many types of mecha, but it can be a pain to wade through all the options when all you want is a 40-foot tall car-stomper with a laser cannon with no frills.
I've got a few more for ya Christian. Are there rules anywhere for playing characters outside the human norm on the lower end, like mice for example? Also, I couldn't find a medicine skill in the main rules. It is mentioned in the healing section, but it and first aid are both described as operating in the same way. They both let you stabilize dying characters with no real difference between the skills.
Thanks for all your help BTW.

AFAIK, there aren't any published rules for playing small animals. Though one could use something like the creature creation rules in Shards of the Stone or Atomik Alienz to build small critters as species packages.
As for medicine and first aid, consult Paramedic skill on page 13, under Technique skills, of the core Fuzion rules 5.2. Medicine itself is noticably absent, but it would be an Education skill, and is obliquely mentioned under Professional (doctor).
The difference between Medicine and Paramedic is that Medicine is chiefly the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. Paramedic is the treatment of trauma and injury. A Doctor would have both skills, obviously, but a Paramedic or Nurse wouldn't necessarily know Medicine.
In my Fuzion games, I split the two into seperate skills.
