RPGnet Game Day: Oakland, CA, Nov 8th

Once again, RPGnet is bringing gamers together for an official RPGnet Game Day. This time we're gathering on Saturday, November 8th, in Oakland, CA for a full day of play. Oakland's excellent game store Endgame has volunteered to host this day of gaming. Why is this posted in this forum instead of Game Registery or Ads/Open Promos?

I mean, you're the admin and all, but it seems rather odd to be advertising it here.

Goodman Games has clarified what they'll be sending for door prizes: one copy each of Morningstar, Monsters of the Boundless Blue, and Dungeon Crawl Classics #2: Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho. I'm sure more than a few attendees will be drooling at the chance to take one of the books home.

Also, Wingnut Games has let me know that a beta-test version of Tom Jolly's Cargo will be it's featured demo. Get an early look at this still-unreleased strategy game that's sure to become a classic.

Thanks to both Goodman Games and Wingnut Games for confirming their support of our Game Day event!

More great guests

We've just confirmed that Peter Adkison, owner and CEO of Gen Con LLC, and founder of Wizards of the Coast, will be stopping by our Game Day. Peter will also be bringing some friends, in the form of Chris Pramas, founder and president of Green Ronin Publishing, and Aaron Loeb, author of Book of the Righteous.

Be sure to stop in and meet these popular industry celebrities! Get them to sign your books, or your forehead, or whatever else they agree to put a pen to.

Dungeoneer demos added

A demo monkey from Atlas Games will be coming by our Game Day to show off the new Dungeoneer 2nd Ed: Tomb of the Lich Lord and its sequel/expansion, Dungeoneer: Vault of the Fiends. He'll be running demo games all day long, so no matter when you arrive or how long you stay, get your helping of Dungeoneer. It's packed full of essential minerals.

We've added a Call of Cthulhu game to the schedule, and Firefly Games has joined the line-up, with demos of CyborGladiators all day long.

Be sure to come join us this Saturday, or be prepared to hate yourself for missing Game Day Oakland.

I'm looking forward to hanging out with my game industry pals and overseeing some cheerfully berserk CyborGladiators bloodshed! Two words: Chainsaw Arm.

See you Saturday!
