Mongoose Publishing is releasing a new version of the RuneQuest RPG next year - and we would like your input!
If you wish to be involved in the game's design and balancing, please drop me a line at spare@mongoosepublishing.com, letting me know a) what it is about the previous editions you most liked and b) what you would like to see in the new edition. From these we'll pick the gamers who are obviously avid RuneQuest fans and ask them to join us for design comments and playtesting.
Cheers!

Will this be set in Glorantha, third editions Mythic Earth or some other setting?
My group might well be into playtesting, fitting the description of RQ fanatics, but I am not personally a Glorantha fan and if that were the setting that might rule me out.

The latest rpg in the Glorantha universe is HeroQuest (http://www.glorantha.com) and it's pretty new (2003) and very well made. Or is the purpose of a RuneQuest line to cater to the more gritty oriented players? (given HeroQuest is more cinematic/epic oriented)
(1.) it really is a new version of the game (not some OGL/d20 version); and
(2.) it is not necessarily tied to Glorantha (I have nothing against Glorantha, and don't care if Glorantha stuff is included, but I have no interest in running a game in that setting).
Any chance of some more info here, Mongoose Matt?
