Nice review. I've been trying to get in touch with Bayonet Games through their online form thingy, but it doesn't work. Do you know anything about a new edition of The World of Esaene RPG? I'm interested in purchasing the game, but I don't want to buy an old edition if a new one will be out soon.

The new edition of E2E will be released at the end of the summer. We have a group of folks at the University of South Carolina that are doing some playtesting for us this summer.
We'll incorporate some of their feedback with the new artwork (awesome stuff from Hunter McFalls!) and some expanded material for the end of the summer.

The 2d edition will not radically overhaul the existing rules framework but will clarify some things with better examples. We'll also include a more robust spellbook and some better guidelines for creating your own spells, and expand the World of Esaene with more background info.
