Ralph Dula's Summary:

The writing: good overall, with some bad moments. The art: Not my cup of tea for the most part. The Pop Culture References: Made me want to claw out my eyes and vomit blood.

...nothing seems able to stop him from writting his reviews about Hunter's books.

Thought this was an odd remark, and potentially a bit personally insulting to the reviewer so I power searched his name and read some of his other reviews....

And fair enough, can't bring myself to disagree with this comment. The reviews are uniformly incoherent and critical of some odd elements of the game line. Anyhow, not going to get involved in a slagging match with anyone, there's no specific comment I could make which hasn't been made to Mr Dula before, but felt this was worth adding.

Cheers
P.

And why should we want to?

I mean, I usually disagree with 90% of Ralph's statements about Hunter, but he can say whatever he likes.

He bought the books, he gets to have an opinion, and he can stick it here if he wishes.

If you don't like what he says - and gawd knows I often don't - discuss it with him, rather than telling him to stop having opinions.

Actually i don't say he should stop writing his reviews.

I may dislike what he says very much most of the time but i have to admire someone who shows so strong perseverance (sp?) in the face of the comments about his reviews.

The problem is that Ralph has a very narrow view of how Hunter should be. It's the tragedy of the ages that his vision of it doesn't look anything like the game itself.
