[RPG]: JAGS Psionics (Supplement), reviewed by Kester Pelagius (4/3)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/9/9304.phtml

C. Demetrius Morgan's Summary:

JAGS may be Just Another Gaming Systems but JAGS Psionics is not just another bland gemeric supplment, or is it? Only one way to find out; read the review.

Hi Demetrius!

Much appreciation for the review of JAGS Psionics (which is getting some eratta and some additions in preperation for the up-coming postapocalypse JAGS Have-Not).

The Minor Disciplines were supposed to be categorized (and have several more added)--our methodology wasn't good so we went with what we had.

I'm very much appreciative of the review (positive and negative comments are extremely welcome and hard to come by). I certainly and strongly invite you to check out some of the many other JAGS offerings.

Again, thanks!
-Marco

Greetings Marco,

Can't wait to see the revisions, and I think the post-apocalyptic expansion might also be worth a look. How many hours away did you say the posting of the completed PDF would be for that? J/k Take your time and do it right, just don't keep us waiting to long. You know how restless the peanut gallery can get!

Too, as you re-organize the Psionics disciplines, I, for one, would like to see them broken down into categories based upon the *type* of psi involved. (IE: Empathy, Telekenisis, Telepathy, et al.) Maybe a half dozen disciplines in total, with at least one or two extras for "wild" or "chaotic" talents. Or something along those lines.

I know it's difficult, I've momentarily stalled on the Psionic addition/supplement for Crystal Spheres, so I know the difficulties. That aside you've done good work, it could be better, but then so could a lot of things in this life.

It was an interesting read. Keep up the good work!

Kind Regards,

CM

But how does it work?

JAGS sounds interesting, but you didn't actually mention anything about the system itself. What is their flavor of Psi? How are they different from any others? What is the basis of their Psi? How powerful do they get, how skilled? Etc.
Saying it is great without telling us what is great about it doesn't help.
