My friend Ted used to judge game books based on how they smelt, I think as a way of suggesting that it was just as arbitrary a category as anything else.

Thanks for the kind words about the review, but I don't think I really communicated how much fun the book is. It's really enjoyable and well-written, and I don't think that came across. Several times while reading it I laughed out loud and read short passages to my lovely, tolerant wife. I should have said more about this, but it's such a subjective thing that I don't know how I would have conveyed it.
