They obviously think quite highly of their website. It has been giving out a SQLserver error for over a week.
The game is rather nice, and it does one thing that NO other Heroquest clone has really ever done. Stuff. Looking at their 11 adventures, there is TONS of treasure. Every bit of treasure is on a unique card, and there are more chests than monsters in most dungeons. Much of your character progression seems based on loot. In a good, wholesome Diablo sort of way.
I have most of these games, and the only two to ever get around the downtime issue are:
Dragonstrike (TSR). Uses a limited number of turns to each adventure.
Warhammer Quest (GW). Has millions of wandering monsters.
I wonder if the D&D boardgame could be adapted to include one of these rules in some form.
