[RPG]: HeartQuest Diceless, reviewed by Golgotha Kinslayer (3/4)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/9/9529.phtml

Golgotha Kinslayer's Summary:

HeartQuest Diceless is Seraphim Guard's diceless shoujo manga game. Worth investigating for a manga/anime fan or a gamer looking for something different.

If it came down to Fudge vs Diceless... Which one?

Converted from Phorums BB System

If you could pick up only one of the two versions, which one would you go for? Is the layout/design better on the diceless than the Fudge one?

Reason I ask is because I'm really interested now, and am torn on which one to pick up...

My advice is entirely dependent on how long you are willing to wait. This is based on my judgment as then poublisher ofnthis poroduct line.

HeartQuest FUDGE is the very first edition. it got terrible reviews mainly because of its layout. Nonetheless, it is a very good game.

HeartQuest Diceless has been revised and cleaned up substantially. If you need a game now, this is the one I would buy. The PDF version oncludes everything needed to play, incluidng the Active Exploits core rules (by permission).

If you're weilling to wait 2-3 months, heartQuest 2nd Edition will throughly revise the FUDGE game and add D20 material as well.
