[Movie]: Freddy Vs. Jason, reviewed by Jason Vey (4/4)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/9/9636.phtml

Jason Vey's Summary:

An hour and a half of fun, campy, and yes, even creepy supernatural horror, with the King Kong vs. Godzilla title match of our generation. A great film overall.

Please forgive the few misspelled words and redundant uses in the review above. It's hard to edit effectively in that lil' text box

Spoiler Note

Great review!

My only complaint was that you warned the reader about spoilers only after revealing the fate of the title characters. Any further spoilers really pale in comparison.

Sorry about that; I didn't figure that mentioning the survival of two guys who *always* survive was much of a spoiler .

Did you have any doubt that eithe rone of them would not make it through the movie? One of the baser premises of these films is that they keep coming back no matter what is done to them.

It is a given at this point, and absolutly not a "spoiler"

Absolutly not!!!

There will be no forgivness...only punishment.

You must be taken into the woods and flogged immediatly.

I, personally, am not avaliable to dole out such punishments until the lawsuits are out of litigation. I will trust that you have either hired someone equally compitant or done it yourself.

once you are done with the flogging mollies, I want you to go sit in the corner and write me an essay explaining exactly how bad you feel.

I usually expect the good guys to win in an action-adventure moive, but I still wouldn't expect a review to start off with "don't worry, Luke destroys the Death Star."

My point was that it was pretty funny to reveal the end of the movie (no matter how obvious), and then warn about spoilers in the review.

Do what I do when I post some long-winded and boring shpiel to Tangency - type it up in a Word doc, spell check it, then cut & paste it into that lil' bastard textbox.

You were dead-on in your assessment of the movie. I loved it, even though I kind of expected it to such going in (didn't see any trailers). I really enjoyed it. I thought the best touch was the scene where he reverts Jason to the little scared Jason and they point out the 'fire/water' thing.
