Thanks for the good review--there aren't that many mage products reviewed here, and Infinite Tapestry is a particularly tricky one.

I must admit, though, that I had a different reaction to the book than you did. I consider myself a fairly hardcore Mage fan, and as such I wasn't really daunted by the metaphysical and philosophical aspects of it; unfortunately, it doesn't serve as an update to the Book of Worlds as much as a complete obliteration of it. All of the fantastical, fluid worlds and realms that used to exist as a balance to the dystopian reality of the World of Darkness are gone, to be replaced with faint reflections and a pretense of new barely formed worlds to explore. I understand why, and I'm not totally sure how the developers could have done differently, but Infinite Tapestry is the one book in the revised line that has really upset me.

Your review does point out alot of the good points of it, though, and I look forward to giving it another read, in the hopes of getting something useful out of it.

The credits page has me writing chapters 4 and 5. I actually wrote 5 and 6. Thank you, drive through.

Thanks for the review, Chris.

Best description of all White Wolf game lines I've ever read.
