Shannon Appelcline's Summary:

An excellent expansion on the basic concept of Rummy that allows for real strategic play. Highly recommended for people who enjoy traditional card games.

How many players?

I've heard this works best with 2 players, ok with 3, and not so good with 4. Is that your experience also?

I've played 6-12 games with 2 players, and it works quite well. Jack gets away pretty rarely because you usually don't go through the whole deck, and that lowers the strategic content a little bit, but it's otherwise great.

I've just played one game with 4 players, and it went pretty slowly, but I think that was partially because of the players. We never got to the end of the two deck shuffles, instead someone always went out. Jack got away about 1 time in 3, which made that strategic play much more important.

Overall, I'd say the game has some flaws at both the 2 and 4 player level, but overall works at both ends of the player spectrum.

I've never played it with 3.
