[RPG]: Earthdawn Second Edition GM Screen, reviewed by Josh Harrison (4/1)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/9/9960.phtml

Josh Harrison's Summary:

While the screen is a durable and good looking product, several flaws and a high price tag really drag it into the dirt.

What he said

I'm a hardcore ED junkie, but this GM screen is probably the weakest product ever made for this game line. Compared in substance to the first edition screen, or the recently released Buffy GM screen - which costs the same - it fails miserably.

Quick additional note

Just wanted to add one quick note about the adventure; the Item History talent, depending on how you play it, can also wreck the surprise twist in the adventure. As a mundane item with virtually no spell defense, a Troubadour or Weaponsmith (who both have access to this talent) can learn pretty much the true history of the artifact after a week of study.

As an addendum to this review, I recently had the opportunity to finish running this adventure for my group.

You can read the playtest report here:
