. . .that you might be considering going to work with Mr. Carella and his cohort of spell casting skull-splitting zombie making freakazoids of wondrous game design ?

Can we at least hope a bit?

Cover Correction

The cover of AFMBE Revised was done by the outstanding Samuel Araya NOT Christopher Shy.

As a fan of Sam's work, I just wanted to state that correction.

Ack! Thank you very much, Jason. Sam Araya deserves full credit for his work.

Sorry, Sam.

I've got no particular plans for it. I'm just digging the game.

I really like the cover, and I particularly try to give right credit for things I like, which embarrasses me extra. The contrast between the teals in the background and the over-saturated red and flesh in the foreground makes for a great composition. The blank eyes have that nightmarish effectiveness they so often do, and that blurred figure in the mid-background is neat. Steeple? Hooded individual? Whatever, I like it.

So: credit to Sam for some kickass cover work!

This review was, I mean.

I got it as a christmas present, and must say, that it's been a while since I've had so much fun devouring a game book.

I don't consider myself a zombie fic fan, and still I like it a lot.

I was about to review it myself, but this one covers what I had to say.

Zombie Master's Screen

Post originally by ben at 2004-01-26 08:36:11

"A simple setup - the adventure in the Zombie Master's Screen, which I'll review separately - held us all rapt, with really excellent roleplaying and tense drama building to a suitably tragic climax."

Bruce:

Glad you liked the adventure in the screen! It was a fun one to write, and I look forward to reading your full review.
