Hey Shannon,

Seems like the majority of reviews you put up, pass by without any comments from the peanut gallery. I put that down to your completely thorough and non trolling review style.

But it case it gets discouraging to see large amounts of work pass by unremarked on, I just wanted to say thanks for all of the fantastic board and card game reviews you do. I've made and avoided many purchases based on them.

I'd like to second Ralph's thanks. Shannon's board game reviews are unfailingly clear, helpful and comprehensive. I particularly like the comparisons he draws with other games of similar play or mechanics, and the summary of pros and cons at the end of each review.

Shannon, I'd recommend you to submit your reviews for print publication, for example to Counter magazine, as they stand up very well against any I've read for quality and clarity.

Hmph, I was about to write much the same as Myles. This is certainly a fine model of what a review should and could look like with a lot of work, certainly worthy of a paying audience.

Sadly, I don't play trading games so I'll still be passing on Hansa, but this review tempted me.
