I highly recommend Cosmic Encounter Online. The pricing is extremely reasonable, and it’s a very fun game to play with an excellent interface. There are many board games online nowadays; but I play none of them, because I’d much rather play games face to face. However, I’ll make an exception in the case of Cosmic Encounter, because the designers have done such an incredible job and because the game is one of my favorites - one that I’m willing to play anytime, anywhere. And now that I’m part of CEO, I can. Come play me, I’m “Voudini”, and we’ll see which of us will rule the universe!

As someone who was in CEO from the time it went live (S'truth: I'm the one who let Slashdot know about it), I can definately say that if not for having a baby, I'd've bought a long-term subscription to CEO. I still pop on from time to time for a free game. The extent these guys have gone through to make it work, and the ability to add in new aliens whenever they're ready, make it a very good game.

Pity the programming required to run a blind double-power game would make most programmers fail a SAN check.
