Great review, Emily! Sounds like the epitome of the "wacky" game. I'm not sure it'd be my thing, but it might be worth a try some time.

I have to agree: while I love the lauds, Em was also not shy about pointing out areas that she thought needed more thought or detail. Even if I disagree with some of her raised points.

I really appreciate this sort of review; it lets me know what's working and what isn't in a book.

I still, still do not get the gamers/monkeys thing. I probably never will.

The game sounds like a hoot, not really tailored for my own sense of humor but there are definitely enough people out there whose boat it will, so to speak, float.

System sounds simple enough, too, which is vital for a nonserious game.
