...when reviewing a product, it would probably be a good idea to correctly spell the name of the product you're reviewing. The designers and companies would probably appreciate it.

Considering that misspelling a fictional name is probably one of his least heinous spelling/grammatical errors. Have somebody else read your document before you post it for everyone to see. Or read it aloud to hear if it makes sense.

Yes, it could have done with a read-through before posting: there are a few typos you could have caught.
But basically it's a good review, and fairly well written. Just a few corners to smooth off with practice.
You talked about magic, but are there any differences for non-magic-using characters in his setting? For instance, is fighting basically standard D&D fighting, or is there new stuff?

"Ebberon" will show up in a spellchecker as much as "Eberron". My anal-retentive* grammatical qualm spider-sense went off when the reviewer said:
"The standard beginning of the campaign takes place in the two years following a huge civil that took place between five kingdoms"
For one, he skipped the word "war", which happened to be the word that would make the sentence make sense. For two, a civil war's definition is that it is a war in which a nation fights itself, not 4 others. Unless they all had civil wars at once, or...
You know what? I feel like a jackass** picking apart this relatively concise and well-written review that Kieth probably took an afternoon to write, not to mention the buying and reading of the book, with a comment that took me less than 4 mins to post. Good first review, Kieth, hope to hear more from you in the future.
*Yes, I know I probably spelled this word wrong.
**Pedantic Poster, Sammy, Kintara, you should all blush for chopping the legs out from under a first-time reviewer. Be helpful, not critical. That is my note to you. Oh, and sorry Kintara if you were being sarcastic, because I couldn't tell.

*Bangs head against monitor*
I confess I wrote this at the end of my day, using a fresh version of OpenOffice.org, and I do realize now that the spell checker on it isn't up to par.
I'm not gonna weasel out. I'm definately gonna remember this one. That and I also know that any time you post to rpg.net get ready to be crucified.
To answer previous question, no the fighting remains the same in *cough* EBERRON, it's still pretty much swords and archery. I was actually kind of impressed when WoTC decided to push for a semi 1800's-esque setting without firearms.
Of course, with the Artificer class, I suppose any kind of magical weapon is possible, depending on the DM :P
