Great review

Great review of an older game that may have been overlooked in the past; I know I had this on my shelf for years before I played it with a couple of friends at a con, after which I was hooked - now this game will always be a favourite of mine.

The review gets it pretty much spot on, although we've always played it with a random first hand, just seems more fun that way. Excellent review for an excellent game!

Where does one pick up "wife"?

The random first-hand option also appears in the computer game, and honestly I usually play the computer game that way, because it makes the game a little lighter. It's how I usually offer the game to first-time players too.

I believe wife comes as a component in other games like "Relationship Tightrope", but it's a very versatile component that can be used in many different games.

Indeed, nice work Shannon. I've played this game about four years ago on a local convention. Nobody really liked it, mainly because the scoring method was so hopelessly vague. In the end, I won, while everybody thought I was the one person who wasn't winning! Perhaps we should play it again, though. And what Shannon says about the components is absolutely true: they're really good.

I also recomend you start with "girl friend" to see if you like the product. If so you can upgrade your service to Fiancee and maybe then wife...

Usually when you go straight into wife you dont know what you are getting.
