Nice reviews. Just a couple of points Dreamcape & Have-a-go-heroes are by Simon Washbourne and SPAM is by Charles Smith.

Cheers

I submitted it as a .txt file, assuming that's how it would be put up on the site -- everyone can read .txt and print it up as they see fit, right?

I don't know why he put up a .pdf...

Many Apologies. This was my bad eye for detail manifesting itself, and a copy and paste incident...

Honestly, text files require formatting, and have no organizational structure built in. Sure anyone can print them, but this is not what I would call a useful format. Whoever made it a PDF for you did the game a favour. It was a pain to have to format the two text files that were saved as such in order to be able to read them.
With how I grade them, sending a text file drops two marking categories to 0/5 immediately.

Thanks for the review. Looks pretty fair. Frankly my sad effort barely warrants a review, anyway.

But since you bothered I would say that Tim Traveller, afaict does not require any 'recollection after the facts', and I wonder why you think it does.

Also, while I can think of a thousand pejoratives for the system 'buggy' is one that I would not have thought of; it's hard to be buggy when things are so simple. What bugs do you think it has?

regards

No... You didn't. .txt files can get really screwed up, diffrent systems and such. Reading Mac .txt files on a PC can be... uhg... and I imagine the opposite is true.

Appearance and Formatting.

I believe having score fields for both Formatting and Appearance is a bit redundant, especially seeing how they get more or less the same score. You give a third of the total score for RPGs created merely to send the idea across on appearances.
