[RPG]: Church & State, reviewed by Scott Mathis (4/4)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/10/10588.phtml

Scott Mathis's Summary:

Anarchists, pissed-off Angels and flaming Mafia hitmen duke it out in The City while the tanks come rolling in. This gives me a whole new reason to love the internet – and I needed one.

Dang! I knew there was something that I forgot to put in the bookmarks.

Nice review, thanks!

And thank you for a really great adventure. You've really given Time of Crisis a run for its money, in my eyes.

Chris Pramas and Steve Kenson should be contacting you in...

(ring!)

Seriously, great effort on Church & State. Is there any reason why the Genre Points and Investigation Montages didn't make Annual #1?

Probably because I didn't submit them. I got a bit out of touch, and didn't hear about the Annual until well to late to try and get anything in there.

Nice review - educational, entertaining. I appreciate that you gave full disclosure on actually being able to play the adventure (or not).

Pretty much talked me into purchasing this product next time I'm at RPGnow.

Thanks!

Bummer. Because those rules add-ons rock like jelly on toast! Whether or not I ever play Church & State, which I would like to do someday soon (lack of group, ugh!), my next M&M game (and every game following) is using those two rules. I've tried, many times, to do (in a number of different house rules) what it took you less than two pages to do. Hats off to that.
