$48 for materials is one thing, but how many hours did this little craft project require (x2, I guess, as you had two people working on it)?

And I thought removing all those Age of Mythology pieces from their sprues was a pain! <g>

I think I'd guess 4-6 hours. We did it in a number of different sessions, so it's hard to keep track.

The x2 multiplier isn't really fair as we were rarely working at the same time. I'd print, she'd cut, I'd laminate, she'd cut, I'd glue, she'd align, etc. Mostly we kept each other company and chatted while we worked. Made it all much more enjoyable.

The time frame would also have gone way down if we'd been more experienced with this.
