Repetitive

Another good review, Shannon.

I was looking forward to playing FoD when I first started reading about it, but it quickly fell out of favor among my group because of the highly-repetitive nature of the auctions. And by highly-repetitive, I mean really, super, frickin highly repetitive. Decide on a bid, and put your fist out again, again, again, again, again, and again. And then a few mroe times for good measure. It grew stale quite quickly and has been collecitn dust ever since.

I like Mystery of the Abbey a lot, but Citadels and this game do absolutley nothing for me.

Yep, the repetitiveness is one of those things that I didn't catch the first time through but has been more obvious through additional plays.

I still really like the online version, and wish it were more available, because it can go fast enough that the repetitiveness doesn't get old before the end of the game.
