Shannon Appelcline's Summary:

A cute little expansion to Days of Wonder's superb train game, well worth picking up while it's available.

Great game

Another great review.

I just wanted to chime in here and say that I tried tried the online version of the game and although it doesn't include this small expansion it is a perfect simulation of the tabletop game and will convine most people to go out and buy the real thing. At least that's what happened to me.

One question: In your review you imply that there might at some point be something other than an American map of the game. Should we expect an expansion at some point? Perhaps Europe?

I’m not Shannon, but there has been talk here and there about a Europe edition or expansion for Ticket to Ride. A quick glance at Gamefest’s Gone Cardboard page (http://gamefest.com/news/gonecardboard) lists it as coming out in ’05.

Besides the planned European game, there's also a couple of fan-produced maps available on the Internet. I've thus got a Lyon map that I play sometimes (see the linked review) and I don't use the Mystery Train cards when I'm playing that.
