[Card Game]: Spooks, reviewed by Spike Y Jones (5/3)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/10/10878.phtml

Spike Y Jones's Summary:

Spooks is a fun horror-themed party/family game that doesn’t quickly become boring. Unfortunately, while the game plays well, the horror veneer is a bit thin.

Age Range

Post originally by Rev. Pee Kitty at 2004-12-08 20:43:21
Converted from Phorums BB System

Whenever SJG runs a "push" for this game, whether an ad or just a post about it, they always market it as very kid-friendly, so I imagine the intended age range is actually "One or more adults and some kids." That's probably why it focuses more on reacting than on building long-term strategies -- to keep it on a level that adults can still appreciate but that won't lose the kids.

Good review, BTW. Very clear and very descriptive.
