Thanks for the review! Acquire, like DIplomacy, is one of those old classics that I've never got around to playing. Now I'll make a point of playing it soon.

Unlike a lot of board games, this one is excellent for three players. It is very balanced, and it combines deep thinking with some unpredictability with the tile draws. This is an excellent game.

I would've given it a 5 for style, because I think the minimalist design fits the faceless corporate tone very well. But good review overall.

Well, the timing was up to WOTC, not me. They send me stuff they want me to review, and I review it. Not sure what their marketing strategy was behind getting a game reviewed just before they kill it, but that's not entirely up to me.
