Thanks for the review again. You had it already written, so why not post it up? Reviews have been thin around here lately too.
So here is one extra idea:
During gameplay, if an elf superspy is injured, find cookies to gain health back. In other words, your elfen Gadgeteer is clutching his chest, down to half of one cookie, and he slinks off toward the kitchen, hoping the evil robot is not following him. Lo and behold -- a few cookie crumbs have fallen in between the cracks between the shelves and fridge. The GM rules that there are 3 Bites worth there, so, roughly, by eating the crumbs, the elfen superspy gains back 3/4 of a cookie in health.
Sort of make sense? It provides a little bit of a healing mechanic, beyond -- all elves gain back health at the end of an adventure.

Santas Soldiers by Deep 7. Of course, they have the Anti-Claus, and Santa in that game is also threatened by the Easter Bunny and the Bogieman (among others)

This clears up something I was unsure of – there are 4 Bites per Cookie, right? Should the health given for the premade villains be in Cookies rather than Bites? (One hit point for a typical elf seems a little short (rimshot).)
This suggests an optional rule – for each full Cookie you've lost, subtract 1 from all your attributes. This would be reversed when you regain health by eating cookies. (And how about letting elves carry a few cookies as sort of a first aid kit?)
Also, how big are elves supposed to be? If a cat has 4 Cookies, a starting PC has 3, an Evil Robot has 2, and a Typical Elf has 1, this implies that elves (and their robots) are smaller than cats.

Thanks for the feedback Patrick!
As for size -- that has been politely glossed over, so I suppose it depends. I see elves as being pretty darn short -- where a decent sized house cat would pose a significant threat. However, I guess you could also go the traditional small child sized. I didn't spend much time on this. Maybe I was thinking of smurf size? I like that style mostly because it makes infiltrating the house, sneaking past towering mountains of presents, crawling through Christmas trees, lobbing oversized Christmas ornaments -- fun and dramatic.
And no, I meant Bites. A superheroic elf (a character) has a good amount of health. Since a normal attack does 1 Bite of damage, a GM doesn't have to take bites of cookies for villain damage. He can just mark it off (like hit points). I figured this would be easier than the GM eating a hundred cookies.
And finally, 4 bites per cookie seems pretty fair, but I suppose it depends on whether or not the player takes big or small bites. However, this may give rise to cheaters, who nibble on their cookies to save their elves from death.

Took the words right out of my mouth. This would have better if it had been an module or rules that expounded on the Santas Soldiers system/game.
Still, it is free and a quick and clever way to get your Christmas ya ya's out through RPG-ing.
