This is an interesting review, of a likewise interesting product.

I have been considering purchasing the book for its setting materials, though I already have the tristat system. Your review has given me enough information to dismiss 2 of the settings as 'not my thing' But Ioshi seems worthwhile, and Daedelus Ascendent seems quite interesting as well.

Perhaps I will wait till I find a used copy, or pick up the PDF when/if the company offers it instead of dropping the $40 for it.

Thanks alot for the review though, it covered all of the bases pretty well, and helped me in my purchasing decision.
