A Great Game... Great Review...

Having played it a couple of times, this is a great game, and far superior to the disastrous "Mausoleum" which has a similar theme. Atlas has done well.

A few other questions and points...

Anyone know how long the life of these cards are? I'm afraid to shuffle them much out of fear that the printing is going to scratch off...

Why did they go with five point increments? Five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five. I really wish they'd just gone with 1 through 5 respectively, like Guillotine. That never made much sense.

There were a few issues with some of the cards that go into play covering up other cards, as in which effects were instantaneous and which were continuous, which I wish had been made more clear.

Still, its worth picking up, being a short and fun game. The only other card game out there superior to this one is Bang!. Worth checking out for certain! Like Graverobbers from Outer Space, this game is quite fun to read the cards, but unlike Graverobbers, this game is fast and fun.

One of my two games was 2-player, and I thought it worked just fine. If anything it was *less* frustrating because you had just 1 player trying to mess up your precious pathos, rather than 2 or 3.

I wish there was an "instaneous" or "continuous" icon, but I thought they were generally pretty clear. If you picked up or discarded cards or lost a turn or draw, that was instant; if you changed your draw limit size, that wsa continuous.

I found that two-player games are quicker and allow you to get more game time in.
