[Card Game]: SPANC: Space Pirate Amazon Ninja Catgirls, reviewed by Rev_Pee_Kitty (5/4)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/11/11391.phtml

Rev. Pee Kitty's Summary:

What's better than a catgirl? A ninja catgirl! But what's better than that...? How about a card game with a great sense of humor that doesn't sacrifice good gameplay for the laugh? An easy to learn game with plenty of replay value and plenty of Phil Foglio catgirls.

Thanks for the review! Glad to hear you liked it. And I always love hearing feedback on just what people liked (and didn't) about the game; gives me...ideas.

Evil ideas.

Well. Moderately naughty ideas, perhaps. I haven't quite reached evil yet. Still working on that.

Cool I must be getting old...

"All of them are wonderfully illustrated by Phil Foglio (of Girl Genius and Xxxenophile fame). "

Geez - and here I think of Phil Foglio of "What's New" fame....

Family game!

Well, at least, my five year old likes it. (We do without Catfights for that, since her attention span is probably a 3 or 4...) She won the very first game of it we played...

She also makes up stories about the catgirls, such as Fluffy and Mary Sue being related.

(This is, yes, a kid who plays Munchkin (all versions) and Yu-gi-oh as well. And makes stabs at Proteus.)

Does she know why Poolboys are such a big deal to the catgirls?

I think SPANC fanfiction looks like a fun idea. I don't have a copy of SPANC yet, as it seems to be on the second-tier of SJG cardgame properties (the have the Munchkin franchise, one of the hottest their is.....), but it sounds like fun.

it sounds like ym six-year-old niece Coleen, who has a decided ruthless streak, would be good at SPANC.
