Excellent review. I couldn't agree more with Deacon's assessment of the system's strengths and weaknesses - while I know the system can handle almost anything, I'm not sure how long it will be before I know it well enough to run it.

And the phrase "Flip-time" should definitely enter the gaming lexicon immediately.

Interesting. I'm not interested in D20 any longer (that's a statement of fact, not an opening for a discussion - no offense to D20 fans).

But I'm intrigued by all of the customization options. That's really, really neat. I may pick it up anyway.

Excellent review. I give it a 4 in style and a 5 in substance. The only reason it does not have a 5 in style is that there are no babes in skintight infiltration suits in the review.

Other than that: My name is Brand Robins, and I endorse this review.

I played 3E a bit when it came out, and didn't like it at all; and was luke wram on Star Wars when that came out, also after a brief playtest.

OTOH, I was suckered into buying this by one Eric Brennan and his posts here. And although I can't see myself using it (one part me, one part nocrunch loving players), i really appreciate the purchase and it is a good mine for ideas and there are is a good deal of nifty stuff to dig out.

As for the layout I also think that style is somewhere betweena a 4 and a 5.

Any comments on how it differs from the original Spycraft? (I didnt' even know there *was* a v2.0 until I saw this review.)
