So, is this just a new version of the Yrth that was the "default" GURPS Fantasy setting?

Joe, your comment about the text boxes is somewhat inaccurate. The text inside the boxes is exactly the same size it would be if the boxes had square corners rather than beveled corners. If you dislike the boxes' appearance, that's your prerogative, but you aren't losing any space because of it.

Thanks for the clarification. And no, I don't like the beveled corners. They look off and odd, different for the sake of being different.
That was a very fair and balanced review, with lots of useful information. Thanks!
By the way, since my last review, I've heard that an upcoming book, "GURPS Fantastic Cities", is slated to have a full writeup of Tredroy in it, so that's a big plus. Hell, you could do a whole book on Tredroy*.
Still no word on whether we're getting the "poster map" of Yrth, though.

(*Yes, I know there's an out of print "GURPS Tredroy" book. I own it. But it's very short and is definitely showing its age. I meant, I could see someone filling a 240-page sourcebook with just Tredroy, the places, the people, and the adventure seeds. I hope it gets a sizable chunk of GURPS Fantastic Cities.)

Tredroy is all well and good but I want a map of Megalos City!!

That is one of the nice things about the new book. It makes me want to explore it more. By seperating GURPS Fantasy and GURPS Banestorm into seperate books, I think it makes the mechanics stronger with fantasy options and the setting stronger with more coverage.
