It's not like I hate playing. I just find it something better suited for special occasions, like lobster. I don't want to eat lobster every week.
But I feel like a heel, cos all these wonderful players play in my game, and I feel guilty not returning the favour and tasting their awesomeness. And hell, I even just feel left out.
But is it okay if I don't do that? I'm feeling kinda down about it for some stupid reason. I just want to GM, and that's all. Okay?
Well, its really ok with me...as long as it is ok with you. Follow your bliss.

It's cool. If people are wanting to play in your games - more power to ya! That's all you need to worry about. If you're doing a good job, why change?

Certainly. I'm pretty sure I'm done with GMing, myself. Years of being forced into GMing have kinda soured me on it.

I prefer to run, too. I enjoy the pressures and pleasures of GMing a lot more than those of playing. Ultimately, we play these games to gratify our own pleasure, so why guilt out over pursuing what you enjoy more? From the few descriptions of them I've read, they sound nothing like the animals you use to play with in high school, so I'm sure they'll understand and not take it personally.

Ditto.
