Technical issue

I just tried to download the main rulebook pdf, but when I try to open it, I get a message saying: 'the file is damaged and cannot be repaired'.

I thought I would notify this so you could tell the people in charge and maybe replace the file with a working one.

Cheers.

I'm experiencing the same problem.
The other files, i. e. supplements, work fine though.

Hi! I've found the download a bit 'iffy' myself, I recommend right-clicking on the download link, then selecting SAVE TARGET AS ... it works every time for me.

I finally managed to open the file after downloading a second copy. However I'm still not sure what the problem was.

I would suggest:

1. Avoid using any Internet Explorer function to open the file (such as the 'Open' button which appears right after a download is finished).

2. If possible, use a non-Adobe pdf reader (Foxit worked fine for me).

3. Open the pdf reader first, then open the file using the reader menus. Avoid opening from the folder itself.

Hope that works for - at least - some people.

Interesting.
Landrils Do-to-guide worked - even with Acrobat Reader.
Thanks Landril!

Re: [RPG]: Mazes & Minotaurs, reviewed by smascrns (4/4)

Two things:

(1) I'm pretty sure that 1972 was 34 years ago, not 24.

(2) is it supposed to be some sort of joke to say this is a reprint of a 1972 game, or are we supposed to think it was really written then? It seems pretty obvious that this is a clever, recently written pistache.

I think it's pretty clear when you read the review and the site that it is supposed to in the style of a game written in the 70's. Try this link for the whole story.

It's easily the most funny piece of gaming humor I've ever read.

Sorry for the mistake. After writing a long review I had to have an obvious error in the introductory blurb! Yes, M&M was written 34 years ago... as much as the Capitolium predates the Parthenon.
