Well now, I think the very slow deep breath I took when I started looking says it all.

If anyone who's reading this thread hasn't yet checked out Ricky's portfolio - you really should head over and do so, you're missing out on seeing some stunning pieces.

If I may Ricky, one of my favourite pieces: http://www.misledtomisery.com/character/wither.html

Oh wow, that dark mage is fantastic, superb composition, concept and technique - all he needs is a ground to stand on and he is *perfect*! The fact that he doesn't have anything to stand on leaves the image hanging (haw haw! egad...) Otherwise it is a fantastic image Ricky, great work.

Re: Ricky L. Hunter - freelance artist

nice clean concepts very much done with the print media in mind

only thing i could add is to the colour to perhaps work the details on the the stone as larger solid areas etc its looks like slate right now. also adding a second colour very gently to the clouds would helps give them more mood , small things that help a bit

solid stuff all round

Re: Ricky L. Hunter - freelance artist

Very nice work indeed, keep it up. It's probably a bit out of my league where payment is concerned or I'd offer you some commissions myself, but I'm certain you'll attract plenty of interest from people who can afford to pay what your art is worth before long.
