Ian's Summary:

This is an enjoyable, GM-less story game that lets players take their id out for a wild romp through the halls of academia.

Re: [RPG]: The Shab al-Hiri Roach, reviewed by Isbo (4/5)

I read through the Game Chef entry version, and thought it looked interesting. From a read-through of the rules Roach sounds like a cross between an RPG and a board-game, with both narrative and competitive elements.

While the free .pdf version presented a novel game, it didn't have play examples necessary to bring a rather unusual idea to life. Looks like the book version comes through in that area. Great review, and my wallet does not thank you.
