Great job, Greg -- especially for a first review!

Just FYI: This should be listed as a Playtest Review, not a Capsule Review.

What sorts of powers do the various fairies possess, and what sorts of adversaries are included in the game?

I agree, except that the reviewer might have directed his ire at the advice giver instead of a game many have used to run adventures simillar to the example given.

Each faery type has a couple of standard Gifts (e.g., Invisibility and Household Magic for brownies, Change Form and Travel Magic for pookas), plus you can take extra Gifts, such as Acrobat, Brave, Charming, Lucky, Sneaky, or Whirlwind Strike. There are a couple dozen optional Gifts on top of the standard ones.

The usual faery tale suspects: hags, giants, trolls, dragons, bumblebees, dogs, cats, foxes, frogs, spiders, wasps, etc.
