Polaris is something strange and beautiful, a game cleverly designed to allow 4 players to share the GM burden and craft tales of noble tragedy about knights who fight a hopeless battle to protect their Polar home from corruption. It’s a great game, but it’s not for everyone.
Sounds like a fantastic game that I am going to give a good look to at GenCon if it is there this year. I'm not exactly sure it is something I could persuade anyone in my gaming group to even consider, but the concept is so radically different that I could imagine owning it anyways.
Polaris has quickly become one of my top three favorite roleplaying games, so I like promoting it, when I have opportunity.
What are the other two?
By the way, nice review azrianni. Do you see it as an easy game to teach? The type of gaming Im doing just now is "pick up and play" once or twice a month with one or two different friends. Suitable?

I think it is fairly easy to teach as far as the game system goes, though I haven't yet taught it to anyone. I'd be more concerned that they had the setting and flavor down--if they had that, then I'd feel fairly confident talking people through the game system. Once you get the concept and the key phrases down, everything else is simple.
