[RPG]: Truth & Justice, reviewed by C.W.Richeson (2/4)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/12/12376.phtml

Christopher W. Richeson's Summary:

Truth & Justice provides an interesting set of mechanics meant to make supers games feel like comic books. Unfortunately the rules may be too non specific for many readers.

Good review overall. Nicely comprehensive, though I feel brushing Stunts off in passing misses one of the big selling points of the game. Some good insights; some points that are mistaken or misleading. (Calling Qualities "Skills", for instance, though you follow that with examples that show you don't really mean Skills.)

Oh, and regarding Armour: I'm guessing you think it's powerful because of the ability to take a Downshift and ignore an incoming attack, but actually you can do that with other abilities too if the GM agrees. Most people say Super-strength is the over-powered one!

FWIW, I just played T&J with John Kim at GenCon, and I had a blast. It's "rules lite" in a good way (something I don't find often, honestly).
