If you love AFMBE or zombie movies, or both, this is a great book. While not a game book, it could easily be used as a source for an AFMBE campaign or just ideas for that game.

Excellent review of a very good book. You should not discount the Survival Guide though, it is done in the same serious tone. It explains a lot about zombie physiology as well, making some parts of WWZ make much more sense.

I have it ordered through the public library. My encounter with WWZ has made me curious about this offering since it is referenced in WWZ.

Having finally read this, I'd like to agree with both the reviewers on here that this is a suprisingly literate, readable and coherent book. What can you expect of an author's who's thanks notes include George Romero _and_ Studs Terkel?
