[RPG]: Ave'Molech Campaign Setting, reviewed by Ryan (5/3)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/12/12587.phtml

Ryan's Summary:

A professional looking PDF making a decent attempt at combining various play styles and rule sets. While not flawless, this book does offer a good amount of enjoyable content and the world definitely has a lot of potential.

So, um, I am none the wiser as to what this campaign setting is about.

It is a PA setting somewhat along the lines of Iron Kingdoms, but uses d20 Modern. I panned it at rpgnow, though my review is more about the faults than the few positives.

What's a "PA setting"?

It's great you like it, but like the other querant, I'm not sure what the product is.

Post-Apocalyptic. The game is set after a major cataclysm has dessimated society, in this case on a fantasy world. Not quite sure how the steam tech and 'cowboy attitude' figures into this, but then I've not read the book. I don't think I'm likely to either.

You don't know what panned means, do you? I gave it 2 out of 5 stars because of all the problems it has.

It would've been nice if one hadn't had to read almost half the (grantedly short) before finding out what system the setting is for.

Re: [RPG]: Ave'Molech Campaign Setting, reviewed by Ryan (5/3)

I looked up this review to learn about the Ave'Molech setting, and after reading the review, I know nothing more than the first third of a book I do not own covers it.

This has to be the most worthless review ever.
