[SotC] Son of the 28 Character Challenge: The Halls of Villany!
With the 28 heroes thread wrapping up, I think it might be time to start working on characters for those heroes (or your very own) to face.
We'll use the same basis for this thread: One character for each skill. Though, for speed and ease of inclusion in your own stories, we'll only do the villains out through the first 3 phases, giving them 6 aspects. This allows for villains to pick up aspects on the fly "Curse You, Johnny Knuckles!" as well as the addition of aspects to make the bad guy fit your game.
I call first dibs on....Weapons! Only 27 skills to go!

Like all good villains, this one will bend the rules. I don’t really see villains being created by the ‘phase’ method so here is my write-up for:
Professor Überstahl – Man of Metal
The man who became Professor Uberstahl was a child prodigy in the fields of metallurgy and robotics. He was working on creating the ultimate warrior with the assistance of Der Blitzmann at the beginning of the Great War. That experiment came to an end one night when several members of the Century Club launched an attack on Der Blitzman. During the battle, while the young scientist was trying to make last minute adjustments to his prototype, an errant burst from Der Blitzman’s Tesla Cannon struck both man and machine, transferring the human consciousness into the metal body. The custom metal alloy of the suit became almost indestructible in the same blast.
Significant Aspects:
Emotions are failings of the flesh but revenge and hate are pure
Don’t remind me of what I have lost!
I can’t reproduce the mental transfer
Loosing your humanity can change a person
German
Leads by fear
Power Hungry
Moving up in the Ranks
You there, cover my retreat
Won’t fight a loosing battle
Stunts:
Endurance: One Hit to the Body; Thick Skinned; Man of Iron (of course)
Engendering: Personal Gadget(x2): ‘Super’ metal body
Leadership: Minions
Weapons: Close at Hand (Works with the suits built in blades)
Gadgets: ‘Super’ metal body – (Armored Tank) Miniaturization; Special Effect (full body); Futurization; Built in Blades (Retractable Blades in arms); Indistructable* (counts as 2 upgrades)
*Indistructable – The metal body can not be bent, broken, or damaged. However, due to his mental infusion of the suit, Professor Überstahl can still be blinded, dazed, confused, or suffer any other consequence that has some mental component. He can even be knocked unconscious but the actual body can not be harmed by any known force of the time.
Minions: Professor Überstahl can usually bring two or three ‘metal men’ to a fight. They fight as ‘average’ minions.

"Catastrophe" Lee, Cursed Gun for Hire!
Josiah Lee was the eldest son of a prosperous Texas cattle rancher. When he was twelve years old, he accompanied his father on a business trip to San Francisco. Father and son took a trip to the city's Chinatown, and young Lee was so taken with the strange sights and sounds that he accidentally bumped into an elderly Chinese man and knocked him to the ground.
The man shouted something in Chinese at the boy and scuttled away. A passerby translated the phrase as "May you live in interesting times", an old Chinese curse. It was a curse that would haunt Josiah Lee for years to come.
After returning home, Lee discovered that a strange symbol had appeared over his heart. Shortly afterwards, strange events began to occur on the ranch. When Josiah's father was killed in a stampede, his mother blamed it on the mark, and drove Josiah from the ranch. He would have to make his way in the world, alone, bearing the burden of his curse.
Lee wandered for many years, finding that he had a very strange luck inflicted upon him. Circumstances would always conspire to make his life complicated, but also let him make narrow escapes from said complications. His most infamous misadventure occured in the mining boomtown of Catastrophe, Wyoming. Lee had been cheated at cards, beaten, and robbed of his horse by three men. He had tracked the three men to Catastrophe and had one aim...to kill all three.
A serious of bizarre coincidences, ranging from a poorly-timed slur against the French to a stray bullet striking a long-forgotten moonshine still, forced Lee to kill most of the town's inhabitants and leave not a single structure standing when he left. Since there was no longer a town to claim the name, he became known as "Catastrophe" Lee, the Quick-Drawing Destroyer.
Lee has spent years penetrating the myriad mysteries of the Orient in an attempt to cure or contain his curse. He has friends (and enemies) in every Chinese enclave in the United States, speaks the language fluently, and wears a collection of talismans and tattoos on his body. Somewhere along the way, he managed to acquire a pair of arcane six-guns, which are never far from him. His acquisition of artifacts has been quite costly, but there are many people who will pay top dollar for a man who can guarantee a high body count and wholesale property damage.
Lee is an amoral mercenary but not a sadist. He never sets out to get into trouble...it just seems to happen and he leaves with destruction in his wake and a hell of a story to tell.
Significant Aspects:
Mark of Strange Luck
Lone Wolf
"They Know Me in Chinatown"
Trinkets and Tattoos
I Can be Bought
By the Skin of My Teeth
Yin and Yang, the Gold Dragon Revolvers
In Search of a Cure
Dangerous Reputation
Not a Cruel Man
Stunts:
Guns: Quick Draw, Lightning Hands, Trick Shot, Bad Luck Bullet, Two Gun Joe
Mysteries: Personal Artifact
Endurance: Death Defiance
Artifacts: Gold Dragon Revolvers - Craftsmanship, Infinite Ammo, Dragon Flight(the guns can be drawn to the wielder's hands with a mental command, provided that there are no barriers in the way and the guns are within visual range. Basically, it's the Jedi "Come here, lightsabre!" trick.)
*Bad Luck Bullet – This is the Guns equivalent of Unsafe at Any Speed. Any damage done by Guns to inanimate objects is doubled. If sufficient damage is done to take the object out, the result is something big like a collapse or explosion(even if the object has no business exploding in the first place).
