Re: [RPG]: Wild Talents: Superhero Roleplaying in a World Gone Mad, reviewed by Tomb'
Nice review, thanks.
I already ordered my copy based off some of the threads I'd been reading on the rpg.net forums, and I'm glad to say the review has me convinced it was a wise investment.
One question, however. The review says:
Quote:
Hite uses an interesting set of five historical axes to describe how a superheroic alternate history works, using examples from comics to back up each level's meaning. Each axis is described by a color in a fashion that makes perfect sense to someone Illuminated by Ken Hite's Supressed Transmissions. The axes--red, gold, blue, and black
Was the five a typo, or was an axis missed?

It was a typo on my part.

If it's a limited edition, I'm betting that it's going to be very difficult to find a copy in the UK. Does anyone know if any copies have been sequestered for this corner of the globe? I was always tempted with Godlike, but the World War setting put me off and this seems like a good compromise

Only they can know for sure, but since this is essentially a limited edition you think they'd mention it if they were out ...

Actually there is a "fifth" component, although not given as much focus and detail as the others. Basically the Gritty-Cinematic-Four Color scale for deadliness. It is even referred to as a "fifth" part, though clearly it's not part of the "four color" guidelines.
Excellent review! I liked the breakdown and even though it was more or less chapter by chapter (which I tend to find boring), your creative headings made it read a lot better.

Yes it is. If Leisure is out of stock, you'll have to pay a bit more and wait a bit longer for it to get through customs, but still can order it direct from Arc Dream.
