Take a cyberpunk future, wring out the angst and most of the darkness, mix in mecha, summer-blockbuster action, and a dash of superheroics, and you've got Tomorrow Knights. The game's simple and comprehensive, and if the tweakable flaws of the core rules turn you off, there's always the included Mutants & Masterminds conversion.

Personally, I found the game exciting in theory, but really disappointing in practice. It was nigh-impossible to hurt the bad guys, while they slapped us around like we were irritating mosquitoes.
However! I did, in fact, love the ninja suit of ninjaness.

I'm truly sorry that the TKs RPG didn't live up to your expectations, sustem-wise. Perhaps with a little bit of modification, it will suit your needs. If all else fails, use the setting info and utilize another rules set.
In any case, we appreciate your business and the fact that you commented on it here.

Is she not awesome, folks?
As to your point about hurting the bad guys, Sara: as I recall, what happened there was that one of them got in a lucky hit or two that pushed your character into making what turned out to be an unlucky roll to avoid being knocked out.

You write such great reviews, Dan.
The versatility of the Seamless Points is intriguing.
Did your players favor one or two Perks over the others?

You know, while I'd have to look over my game logs to be sure, I don't think so. IIRC, everyone was able to select certain Perks to help their characters fill a specific niche in the group.
I do recall money-related Perks being popular, though, given all the high-tech goodies available for purchase.
