Great review, Jason. It was both informative and entertaining! I was on the fence whether to get this, but I think that I will now.

Worth every red cent of the purchase price, and that can't be said of a lot of gaming product these days.
[EDIT]Also...dammit, no matter how closely or how many times I proof a review, there still always seems to be something that slips through. In the "Conclusion" section, it should read "downgraded from 5 due to the lack of racial abilities," not class abilities.

I hear ya, Jason. That never fails to annoy me when I do that. Like a scratch on a new car.
Anyway, great review, Jason! Very comprehensive and balanced.
(I'm still hoping to get those C&C review copies I was told about at GenCon '05 to see the line for myself. )

Thanks, Dan! If you ever get your copies, you won't be disappointed. Most will agree that C&C requires some house-ruling, but part of the design philosophy is that the ease of house-ruling is a feature, not a bug. C&C gives you a framework upon which to build your own game.
