A classic tough dungeon crawl which is above average in all respects. Has multiple scenario hooks, a dynamic situation, an extremely interesting location, and very interesting denizens.

This is a great dungeon; I tagged it as the best apple of the bunch in my review of the Runequest short adventures. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that it should have been bigger and more difficult. It is actually not that hard for a party of runemasters to strip this place back to the wall studs. A game's primier dungeon crawl should be tougher than that.

Certainly agree with both those points. I wish AH's printing was more like a "campaign setting", say of 128pp, rather than a simple reprint of the Chaosium modules. That could have solved both problems.
