[RPG]: Sci-Fi Week: Shock: Social Science Fiction, reviewed by Jono DiCarlo (2/5)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/13/13125.phtml

Jono DiCarlo's Summary:

The only science-fiction game I've ever played that really gets what good SF is all about, \"Shock: Social Science Fiction\" might change the way you think about role-playing.

Hey, Jono, thanks for the review! I'm glad you like the game so much.

This review is extraordinarily perceptive. Thanks for giving the Old School perspective on it, too. I wrote it to satisfy my own longing after many years of not getting what I wanted out of SF RPGs, so the result is necessarily different than other games.

Thanks very much for this review. I've been intrigued by Shock: for awhile now, and I feel like I have a very good sense of the game from your review. I'm especially impressed that you can call it your "new favorite game" and yet still maintain enough distance in your writing to explain where it might not work for other tastes.

Best,

Jim
