I was actually thinking about doing something like this myself, if for no reason than to force me to crack open those games I've not even read properly (or at all )
Edit: If I actually did it I'd end up making... over 100, but I don't know the exact number after that...

Cool, if I would do this, I would make... 4 PCs... 5 if I include the game I got on the computer...
I know I'm poor...

Would we be splitting up settings as different games as well? I mean to say, would Eberron and Ravenloft be considered different games, or would they both fall under D&D?
I'll have to remember where to find my old Blogspot page...
EDIT: And I guess I would ask the same question about the Exalted fatsplats...am I overthinking this?

I'm going to be doing it as one PC per system, as opposed to setting. To make things easier on myself, I might even stick to the same basic character/concept for the whole thing.

I gotta say, that's a noble, and honoraable goal right there. Give those dusty volumes some time to air out.

How would treat generic roleplaying systems like Fudge, Gurps, and Heroes?

They're not the same system, so make one for each.
You misunderstood me.
Gurps is a generic system with no standard genre, With Gurps you can do pirates, fantasy wizards, sci-fi explorers, etc... There's no set genre for those generic systems.
