A game about a circle of friends who all hate one another. The game is clever, but relies heavily on players creating conflicts among themselves, which can prove challenging depending on the group.

I've played it once and loved it; 1930s speakeasy setting. Lots of opportunity to be petty, nasty and downright dangerous. Chargen is a clever system which encapsulates the theme which is always a good thing.

Thanks for the review.
My advice on creating situation in Best Friends is to look at the Nonsense of the characters, that should be where the stories are.
Failing French? Maybe it's because your friends are distracting you from class? What about if you try to spend a weekend studying real hard for the French test? That's where the story kicks off, y'know?
If you have the 4th printing then this should be at the back of your book already.
(2) can someone change the image for the game cover on the review? Currently it's showing the cover of the 24-hour version, which is cute but ultimately just some 24-hour crap when compared with the real cover: http://gregorhutton.com/boxninja/ima...0002-front.gif
Thanks!
Gregor
