I've been spending the last two weeks trying to figure out how to write a review of this, and you nailed it.

I love the game, the mechanics are so simple that at the event where I learned to play, we had a person who's never played any RPGs before sit down and join in w/ no troubles at all.

I do agree with you about the lack of a setting, I had trouble just coming up with something simple to teach my players the mechanics. (I had a run in with a ghost and dropped hints to something bigger going on...) I would have paid more for a book twice the size with a nice campaign setting included.
